The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it's alarmed regarding the high range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The service level established for intervention encounters a superior influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it tough to the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, website SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to enable the servicing of all consumers status sassa and enhance usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency SRD said.
